I'm starting a new business and recently set up the Ltd. Registered with HMRC as an employer and have set up a pay roll system. Will be registering for VAT shortly and I've applied to protect my trademark.
I'm investing 16k of my own money to get this business up and running but I'm not sure what is the best way to give the Ltd this money. Do I lend this cash to the company? Issue 16k £1 shares to myself?
Unsure about how this works. Thanks!

I would put say £100 worth of shares then £15,900 in the form of a directors loan. You can then repay this when the company becomes profitable.0
