Spyware/malware remover

Hi I've recently upgraded to sky broadband and with the disc comes a free one year mcafee subscription which I've loaded into the computer.

I used to have avg antivirus and spyware. The mcafee programme doesn't appear to have a programme which removes spyware/malware, can anyone recommend a spyware malware removal programme to use which won't clash with mcafee and slow my pc.

My opinon... Get rid of Mcafee. I was a Norton then Mcafee user but realised my pc was so slow. Got AVG and Spybot (both free) sent Mcafee packing, now my 'puter is faster and I have had no problems.

I second that. I can get McAfee for free if I want and have done for years but I wouldn't use it. Even if you do decide to use McAfee (which I strongly suggest you uninstall) there's nothing stopping you from using AVG Antispyware.
