Ignored NTK on old advice - what do I do now?!

Hi all,
Seems I've been silly and followed advice issued before 2012 with a parking ticket recieved in England in a private car park. I was issued a windscreen ticket for being 13 minutes over my ticket time. I'd had one of these before (prior to 2012) and having read advice I ignored it and it went away.
I did the same this time but have now recieved a letter from TNC debt collectors saying I owe them £149 - I did a bit more googling and can see the advice has changed since I last got one and now I'm scared!
I've read the newbie advice but not sure what to do seeing as I have ignored three letters to them.
I'd be so grateful for any advice!
Thanks

As you have ignored it this far, you would probably be better to stick to your guns and keep-on ignoring unless they send you an LBCC - then get in about the threads telling you how to prepare and mount a proper defence. Which PPC is it? - Some are more prone to doing this than others.
Although the chances of that happening are probably pretty slim now the PPC have taken the debt collector route. Just there is the possibility the PPC might chance-it later as they have six years in E&W to pursue an alleged "debt".
Your can still create with the landowner to see if they will stop it and that can be an effective route in some situations.0 -
The original parking ticked was from Armtrac Security and now I've had a letter from TNC debt collectors.
What is an LBCC? Have a got a leg to stand on seeing as I was over time? I also don't have any of the letters or the original ticket?0 -

Start by reading the Sticky thread for NEWBIES that explains all the acronyms, what to do about debt collectors, and what you should do now as well as what you should have done so you will kniow how best to proceed if this happens again.I married my cousin. But the TNC letter is the NTK. It is appeal time. The NEWBIES thread tells you exactly how to appeal when the first letter arrives, whatever they call it. Don't ask who to send the appeal to (drives me mad when people ask that and expect us to guess, even though they are the ones with the silly letter in front of them). And please don't copy out the template appeal from the NEWBIES thread here...we don't need to 'check' it!
Some small PPCs use a debt collector to get the DVLA data and send the first letter out - so this is appeal time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
