Account opening incentives taxable?

Tried searching, couldn't find this anywhere.
I would be grateful if anyone could advise me on the tax status of account opening bonuses. I have tried HMRC website, searched on here, and googled generally with no clear result. If I've missed it on HMRC, a link would be really helpful.
For clarity I'm talking about the £150 Clydesdale/£125 First Direct/£100 Halifax/£100 Co-op switching bonuses. Thanks in advance.

Search harder, it's been asked numerous times with the same response that F&NC has given. A useful hint is not to bother with the search within the forum but use a search engine and include moneysavingexpert as a search term.0

If it was, the bank would deduct it at source like they do with interest.
You really want to declare £100 of bonus income from the Banks? What's wrong with you?
