would my house be insured?

if I bought a house with aattic dorma which does not have planning permission or building regs be insured if a fire happened or collapsed even if i had building and content insurance and indemnity policy.

    Surely the doorman would spot the fire and call the fire briaged before too much damage occurred?

    Probably, but then he'd refuse to let them in because their names were not on the guest list.
