Ordered above from Amazon and after reading pages and pages of instructions, all I have done is charge and switch on.
It seems incredibly complicated
I ordered the case with it at £4.99 and although both came in the same parcel I was charged £4.99 for each item.
When I queried this with the seller they said this was to adjust the case to its correct price of £9.98.
I am not techie and was only looking for a bigger screen to browse, similar to my 7inch Kindle.
As this was under £100 pounds, I could afford it.
Will I be able to return it to Amazon?
I have only charged it and switched it on.
Please help!

I have had the Kindle Fire for 2 years but would like a bigger screen that is not too expensive.0

Kindle Fire uses an Amazon version of Android. I've tried a Fire in a shop before and didn't like how it worked - normal Android is quite different.
If you can't get your head around how this 10.1" device works then you'll be stuck trying to use any Android tablet. And may even have problems with iPads.
Android is not difficult to use.
Any app is launched by clicking on it.
There are 3 basic on-screen controls ... < takes you back one step (from whatever you were doing); O returns you to the "desktop" or your homescreen; [] gives a list of running apps, and sliding an app closes it.
Swiping left or right whilst on the "desktop" reveals further screens where you can place apps.0 -
I've never understood why someone comes onto a forum, spends time typing a question and then wait for the replies to come in when it's quicker and easier to type "android for beginners " into google like I've just done and it comes back with this

and numerous other helpful pages0 -
I DO understand why people put Insurance queries on the forum when I as an Insurance Underwriter knew the answers.
Googling is not as direct as asking one question.
I have now connected by trial and error.0 -
Just realised that my earlier post references the latest Android 5 (Lollipop) icons. The link from Daz shows what Android 4.4 (Kitkat) used.0

That's fine if someone is asking a particular question, you couldn't/can't get to grips with android at all, yours is more of a general question,in which case googling is your friend.
I'm sure that link I gave you has more answers in it than a dozen questions on here0
