iTunes slow tonight (Thur 18th Dec)?

My iTunes is supposed to be downloading,but it's just sitting there with "Downloading" next to each track :-(
Is it slow for anyone else, or just me? Internet working OK, but iTunes preview playing kept buffering, so maybe I shouldn't have attempted a download.
