Payment in time

Hi

This is a follow up to my previous question really.

My current 0% deal ends on 4th jan and have arranged for balance transfer credit card to take over. The latest is that I received my pin for the new BT card in the post on Tuesday. I haven't received anything else yet.

I have found out that they close on 25th and 26th dec and 1st and 2nd of jan. (The company of new card)

I'm hoping it comes soon so I can transfer balance ASAP.

QUESTIONS

- IS THERE A QUICKER WAY OF PAYMENT IE OVER THE PHONE INSTEAD OF ONLINE?

- I THINK THE APR IS 18.5% AFTER THE 0% FINISHES SO IF I WERE TO MISS THE 4TH JAN TRANSFER DEADLINE, WHAT IS THEWORST THAT COULD HAPPEN BEARING IN MIND THERE IS £750 ON CURRENT CARD. AM I LOOKING AT PAYING AROUND £130?

- IS IT POSSIBLE TO RING NEW BT CARD COMPANY AND ASK FOR ONLINE LOG ON DEATAILS NOW EVEN THOUGH MY CARD HASNT COME YET........TO SET UP ONLINE BANKING.

Thanks

Only if you leave it there for a year. Otherwise, the interest wil be pence per day.

Why not phone up today and do the BT, if you've already been accepted?

18.5% is an annual rate (hence APR) so the daily interest would be something like 750 x 18.5% /365 per day i.e. 38 pence per day; so for a month that would be about £11
