Switch to Eon... From MSE deal

Hi all,

So switched to Eon as part of that collective deal several weeks back... Other then an email from MSE heard nothing until today. I got a letter dated 8/12 asking for my electricity readings ASAP. It says it expects my account to switch on 12/12! Today is the 18/12!

Tried to enter the readings online to be told this account is already setup please login.... !? Tried logging using the only details it could possibly be then I'm told I need to activate my account.... :mad:

Also the letter I recieved makes no mention of gas only electricity but I'm switching both?

Tried calling... Just on hold forever!

Anyone in the same boat?

    Really sorry for all the difficulties you're having completing your switch.

    We've been having a number of issues recently. These've had an impact on both setting up accounts following switches through the Cheap Energy Club to the MSE Collective Switching Tariff and then later when entering starting readings online.

    I've posted about these issues quite a few times on different threads. Thought it might help if I give you a couple of links to the main ones.

    Posts 58, 68 and possibly 76 are the most relevant.

    As in post 58, please phone the number dedicated to giving us opening meter readings. It's 0345 301 4905. This line is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm on Saturdays. Calls are charged at local rates or may be free if included in certain phone tariff packages.

    It's not unusual for fuels to switch at different times. We also send letters for each individual fuel. The advisor on the number above will be able to let you know where we're at.

    With the online account, you can activate it by going through the link in the email we sent when you first set this up. Pop in the password and you'll go straight into the account.
