Can't look him in the face..

I'm getting my dog castrated for Christmas. :rotfl: It's so cruel, it wasn't intentionally timed, but... I just can't look at him now. He's all playful and lovely, and gets excited when I come home from work... and I just see the unconditional love in his eyes, and think "yep, I'm taking away your balls" and feel guilt.

Although at £20 it's a moneysaver's dream!
I can't add up.

He'll be sore for a day or two, but then he'll forget all about it once "The Cone of Shame" is off :-)

He'll soon get over it and it's the best thing you can do for them.
My two still play and jump about mad and one still chases the ladies even though he has been done for more than 2 years.

  • We got our cat done in January and I remember feeling really tearful the night before, I felt so guilty that I was about to send this poor helpless kitten to be horribly mutilated.
When we picked him up from the vets after it had been done they told us that he had come round really quickly after the operation and had spent the rest of the day trying to grope the veterinary nurses through the bars of his cage :rotfl:

Hopefully . . . you know that 'sometimes' it doesn't make one jot of difference to the behaviour patterns !

I'm feeling the same way about our kitten ! She's going in on Tuesday, and I'm beside myself.

I keep thinking that this poor little rescue kitten, who had such a tough start in life (she was found cowering & alone in a lift shaft), and who has blossomed into a playful, loving cuddly little girl, is going to be going under the knife because of the choices I'm making on her behalf :(

He's very well behaved, I'm having it done to prevent testicle related illnesses like cancer, and also to stop the pitter patter of super cute little baby puppy paws.

Kinda want to pimp him out once before I get him done... although I don't think he could handle it, he pukes when he humps.. :rotfl:

The pitter patter of cute likkle flumphs of puppykins shouldn't really bother the keeper of the dog. You stand idly by while he does his stuff, then you retreat to a safe distance & wait for the money to come in.

If you've never had chance to experience it, then IMO everyone should experience a litter of pups at least once in their lifetime. Preferably before their 10th birthday.

oh well, least you'll have a couple of baubles to hang on the tree, and can bring them out each year to give him a sniff, :rotfl:

Though for £20 you could've bought a turkey.
  • Both of my cats (brothers) were done on Valentine's Day one year! And, on top of that, I got a 25% discount for 'bulk'!
