Hijacking someone else's thread is not a good way to get help here. Please start your own thread, and when you do please tell us what parking company and whether a windscreen ticket was given originally.

    Sorry again

I have still not heard a thing from Parking Eye, submitted appeal via their website on 19/12/14.
Getting a bit concerned as the £100 payment due date is 10 January.
I am going to re-submit my appeal on their website today, and take a screenshot of the receipt just in case they are ignoring it deliberately. I am still within the original 28 days to make an appeal. Cant do any harm can it?
Don't want to give them reason to say i haven't paid within the 28 days.
    Thanks again

They've got 35 days in which to respond. The Christmas break will no doubt have interrupted their conveyor belt. You're a bit premature I think.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Nothing to be concerned about. You will get the 100% MSE discount. Parking lie may cancel at the sight of a forum appeal to save themselves the 27 quid + VaT they know it will cost them to lose at PoPLA. If they are stupid enough to reject your appeal then you make a second appeal to PoPLA and win.

  • Advice welcome on next move please. ParkingEye
    Original PCN/NTK dated 13/12/2014
Template appeal sent via Parking Eye website 19/12/2014
    also sent by post too.
This morning received a reminder that the charge remains outstanding and if not paid by 10 January the amount due will increase. It says £100 to be paid by 24/1/15 discounted to £60 if paid by 10/1/15. which seems a bit of a contradiction.
Seems they are ignoring my appeal , i thought appealing meant things were "put on hold" until the appeal is decided in favour or not.
    Thanks again

The reminder is standard, they send it anyway and are not ignoring the appeal. Sit tight and await either a cancellation letter or a rejection of appeal with POPLA code.

Their original NTK demanded £100 by 10 January.
Now the reminder is demanding £100 by 24 January or £60 by 10 January.
Seems they are a bit desperate to me

I assumed that until they had made a decision on my appeal they couldn't do anything further including sending out further demands threatening to increase the amount due.

No this is normal for ParkingEye, they always send a reminder so relax! If you appealed online to PE you know for a fact they had it as the screen will have acknowledged the appeal. They are hoping you will worry and decide to pay the discount 'offer'. DON'T!

Ok will do as you say. I feel like sending them an invoice for all my time and their harassment sending out further threatening demands when i have already appealed.
    thank you coupon-mad.
