ASOS - Are they about to go Bust?

This is a serious question and I am not trying to scare anyone, but there is an alarming number of people going around saying they cant get through to anyone at ASOS, by email or on facebook orders not being dispatched and delivered.
Could this be a sign they are about to go bust?
I know lots of places get busy in the run up to Christmas, but many of these people placed orders at the start of December.
I am worried as I placed an order last week, but it still says processing, I am not sure if I should try and cancle it now or not?
Any chance anyone at MSE could let us know if they know anything.

Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Given their twitter/facebook are still active (most recent just 5 hours ago) I doubt anything is wrong.
Likely just overwhelmed with orders like most businesses this time of year.0 -
There tons or people complaining about them everywhere though and no one seems to be getting any valid responces from them, if they get a responce at all.
I am not sure what is going on. You would have thought they could issue some sort of statement if they were having some problems, rather than just ignore everyones concerns.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -

Not sure that's any help as it isn't true! Lol
Nor is the statement that says no current delivery problems!Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -
We had major problems with them, wouldn't choose their service ever again and judging by the hundreds of complaints like mine not many people will either.
Horrendous customer service, lies and downright difficult to get a response from.
Awful company.0 -
No they aint going bust, just because they have some delivery and CS issues at the most busiest time of year is laughable.
Maybe to put your mind at rest their currect share price is 2,589.00 Up 82.00(3.27%) and they are currently on their way hit £2.5 billion in sales0 -
Well that makes me feel a little better although not surprised they are making so much money when they take orders and money and don't send out the goods!Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

According to their latest annual report - which covers the period to 31st August 2014, they hold about £74m of cash, which was £3m more than the previous year. Despite some short-term hits to profitability as they invest in logistics and the strong pound dents international sales, there's no reason to think they're in any sort of financial distress.
These seem like the just the sort of service challenges which one would typically expect during the busiest time of year. This is everybody's fault but mine.0 -
If everyone that said they would not use ASOS again stuck to their word, I think they would be in trouble - the problems they have had this year go far beyond normal Christmas rush stuff. But people generally like to rant and then go back to shopping there shortly after, so no harm to business.0

To be fair they did lose the majority of their stock in a fire some 2 months ago0
