Bank haven't taken my money????

  • I wish they had just taken the payment when I made it.

So if my card account is paid off and closed, and they don't take the money by the 3/6month deadline. They can still request it whenever they feel like it?

So in theory, I need to make sure that money is just sitting there waiting......

As I said above, just 'informing' isn't sufficient for 'taking' money unless the things go as far as using the 'offset' right, in which case it won't be a card payment.

They can demand money and chase you for it.

Yes. After 6 (3?) months it can be waiting in some other instant access account.
