GHolmes, I think it is great that you are vigilant and check out suspicious entrants! I know of a few bloggers who check too. One in particular often posts that she had to make a re-draw or several re-draws after the winner/s chosen by the rafflecopter had been found to have cheated! :(
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • I had to redraw five times once!
  • Wife enters some good competitions.
Wife: "Here, husband, why don't you come and enter these good competitions too?"
Husband: "Ok, dear. On my way."

Sometimes when I'm sat lounging on the sofa with my boyfriend I will copy and paste some links in Facebook messenger so he can enter himself as long as it's not a one entry per household comp.

This makes me wonder if we were married would people think we were the same person cheating. :(
  • Both accounts have now blocked me after sending a couple of 'hostile' messages. I only know I'm blocked by them because I went to block them after I saw the messages.

I've never actually followed either of them so it seems somewhat unnecessary.

I guess truth hurts and you show your anger any way you can.

My son and I both comp and we do the same. We check to make sure it's one entry per person, not household, then message each other appropriate links. So we would sometimes be entering the same comp just a few seconds apart. So would this be seen as suspicious behaviour, even though we're not breaking any rules? :(
  • In this case it wasn't just the IP address it was also two twitter accounts which move along in absolute tandem ALL the time which can have no natural explanation.

I don't want to name names as that is a minefield, but I did DM privately to advise I had spotted and removed their entries.

    Good on you.

Obviously no one likes cheats but I have a tiny bit of awe for anyone who can be bothered to do all the tasks demanded by any rafflecopter comp twice.
  • Ah but on mine there are no mandatory entries, I looked at it as a comper and decided to leave it up to the entrant how many or how few they do.
