Hi Guys,

Job:
change bath and basin taps on a gravity fed system
change bath panel

quote:
£150 for taps
£95 for bath panel
£85 for labour

I checked online and taps and bath panel are a lot cheaper. Am I missing something.

Taps vary in price so its difficult to say if thats a good or bad price for them without the exact specifications...but £95 for a bath panel...prey tell what type you are having....I thought ours was expensive at £49...or is that a side and end panel or even side end and front panel?


If thats your only quote get another to at least compare....But that one seems on its own quite expensive.

You need to check what your getting. Bath panels start at around £25 for a cheapy unifit righ up to £500 for a fitted duravit item. The same applies to taps

Labour sounds more than reasonable, if not a bit cheaper than I would quote
