Received a notice to keeper Parking charge from UKPC for parking in a disabled bay without displaying a valid badge. It was in a Leisure park at night, they have a picture but the ticket is barely visible let alone the vehicle, thugs camera provided to him must of not had a flash! Will the template provided by you great people on the forum apply to my case ?
I am the driver not the keeper.
Thank for any help with this

My farther is the owner of this vehicle but I was driving it at the time of the alleged took place
Farther has a valid disabled badge and I was collecting him at the time. In hindsight I should of displayed it but mistakes happen. I also do not condone misusing displayed bays and well aware they came out at night as does my dad!0 -
CM is the Oracle here, but having just been refused a blue badge due to a complete failure to follow due process, so blatant as to be discriminatory, I am reading up on the subject in order to set in motion a sh1tstorm which RBC will spend a fortune explaining.
I would say yes you may have grounds to fight this under the Equalities Act 2010. However PPCs are convinced this law does not apply to them, and PoPLA and the IAS support them in this misapprehension.
It is better therefore to fight this on GPOL, contract, signs, and complain separately about discrimination. Here is the skinny

You've got grounds; legally, the blue badge doesn't mean anything and the parking provider has to make allowances for those that need them under the disability act; for which you're covered.
Even excepting that, there's the usual appeal route.0 -
Yes also windscreen PCN. Have sent appeal from Newbies thread, thanks for all the help will keep you guys posted.
Merry Christmas :beer:0
