does anyone know if its normal practice to receive a letter stating that they now have all the reports and information about my condition and how it affects me, they are sorry its taken longer than expected, [only three weeks} to give me a decision on my claim but will contact me as soon as they have made a decission, thanks, Brez

This is a standard letter that they send out to everyone and nothing at all to worry about. It just means you should have a decision very very soon. I had the same and rang them the next day and a decision had been made. Remember it takes 7 days to receive a letter from DWP from the time they send it, so they may even have a decision for you now. You could ring them and ask. If it has been made then they'll tell you over the phone.0
