Ring one of the numbers and ask to speak to a manager saying that your going round in circles, advise them of the numbers that you have been given and called and that your going no where.
Ask for the managers name that you speak to and that name is the one that you will use until the issue is sorted.

Where Fridge Freezers are concerned Dixons will always give you the runaround. If its a Zanussi they will want you to ring Zanussi directly as its them who will do the collection.

Similar thing happened to me, big dent on the door and I just wanted them to replace the door. It took days of phone calls with Dixons refusing just to send a replacement door etc. Called Zanussi who would send me back to Dixons, Dixons would send me back to Zanussi.

Eventually they said someone would be in touch. 2 days later I had a new door delivered from lord knows where and I never heard from them again.

Its a bonkers system with neither side seemingly having a clue what they are doing, so good luck!

Sorry Butlers, missed this. You cant speak to a manager unless you have an "Ongoing case". When you complain about this they will tell you in order to have an "ongoing case" you need to have conversed with them in writing.

You cant even speak to a supervisor. Believe me, after an hour on the phone with them you really do feel like banging your head against a brick wall.

Is there any reason why if you paid by credit card that you should not contact your card company and do a chargeback stating that Dixons will not communicate with you?
Up to them to collect it and go to a company that will give you good service.
