Peugeot Car Radio Auxillery Input - Help

Hi all,
Looking for some help on car radios and auxillary inputs...
My wife has a 2009 Peugeot 308 with a standard car radio; there is no front auxillery input on it.

Now, I'm really keen to enable her to listen to her music from her iphone on the car, so need to understand how I could get an auxillery input. Whether that be through the back and into the glovebox, or a new radio.

I had a brief conversation with a car electronics place, who said they need to look at it, but gave me a ballpark figure of £150 for a new interface?

Any advice on whether that is in the right ballpark would be great.

From the manual I think it is a WIP Sound CD radio.

Thanks in advance
Steve

Does it have an option for a CD changer or a line in? Does it have bluetooth?

What is the actual stereo fitted? Exact model?

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I think the model is Radio mono CD RD4 MP3.

It doesn't have bluetooth, and don't know about options for CD changer or line in, there is nothing visible fromm the front.

    Thanks

Plays MP3s via CD only I think - certainly has no usb connector.

Sorry - where would I find the model number of the radio?

it is the same as this one:

  • You could probably replace the head unit yourself for less than £100.

I put something similar to this in my last car http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=CDXGT40U

    You may also need -
    - facia adapter
    - wiring adapter
    - steering wheel control adapter
    - removal tool

Takes less than an hour to swap it over - probably less if you know what you're doing!
