Santander 123 credit card retailers

I have had a santander credit card 123 purely for the cash back element but am not sure that it is paying cash back on the retailers I am using. I have been using it for all my spending and then paying it in full each month. My average spend is about £700 per month but cash back is only around £5 per month even though most of my spend is food, clothes, petrol and household stuff with a few meals out. Using the search function is not good and hardly finds any of my favourite shops.
Now I am having to pay the £24 fee, first year was free, can anyone recommend a credit card which would offer better rewards?

Have a look at the no fee AmEx card. If you spend at least £3,500 in the first year you can get some pretty good cash back.
Also, have a look at this thread when the Amazon card ended.
