L & G International Index Trust Considerations

I've been looking at an alternative to the Vanguard LS Funds and came across the Legal & General International Index Trust. I think that I am far too weighted towards the UK market and wanted to diversify without things getting too complicated.

Is this fund worth considering?

Yes although you may also consider the Vanguard FTSE dev world ex UK fund.

Only difference I can see is that L&G invests in individual shares, not fund of funds like Vanguard, so your exposure to individual companies may be greater. Apart from that if you chart them on Morningstar you can hardly put a piece of paper between them on performance.

Blackrock Consensus is the fund of funds I use for the bulk of my portfolio because it has less exposure to America (35% compared to 56%) and more towards the UK, which enables me to have the L&G Pharma fund, which is heavily US based (60%), as a substantial satellite.
