can i be taken to court? will i win?

Options
I got issued a PCN on the 01/03/13 by sussex security solutions for parking in my allocated space at my flat. The permit was in my windscreen but had slipped down a bit. My neighbour saw the attendant try to issue a ticket and pointed out my permit but he was having none of it. I appealed to SSS who said they had picture evidence (but never showed me it) and they rejected my appeal. I wrote to POPLA and my appeal was rejected on the 18/03/13, despite the fact i showed picture evidence that my car is registered to me at that address, and that i was parked in my allocated space. I got sent three threatening letters and then nothing...
until now. when i get a letter dated the 09/12/14 (21 months later?!) from debt recovery plus ltd saying if i dont pay £100 by the 23/12/14 that they will recommend to SSS that court proceedings are started.

HELP!! what do i do? do i ignore as previously? are SSS likely to take me to court and win??

the PPC could try, they might win, nobody knows and there are no guarantees either way

but debt recovery cannot do this, but the alleged "debt" can be chased for up to 6 years under the small claims procedures so expect more of the same

read the NEWBIES sticky thread though, especially the section on debt collectors
  • It's your allocated space. You have a witness who pointed out to the knuckle dragger that you had a permit. They would be more than stupid to take you to court. At the moment you are caught in their threat scenario. It's time to understand that they are trying to frighten you. Don't let them.

If it is your own space, why do you need a permit. What does your lease/AST say about parking does it mention permit, if not, tell them to swivel. This chap did

Oh just ignore it. No need to start a new thread about DRP, please spare us yet again from being asked to discuss the same old letters:

READ THIS BEFORE YOU START A NEW THREAD ABOUT ROSSENDALES or DEBT RECOVERY PLUS!

Please click there and read it. We've ignored this stupid letter chain for a decade and to find threads galore simply needed a Google (and a giggle):

Happy Christmas - no we don't want to hear about each letter...please...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
