Tesco CC section 75 claim - timescales?

I used MSE template letter to submit a claim under section 75, this was to tesco credit card. It is a long running dispute between myself and a company however i know have a court order against the company so all the evidence is there to support my claim.
does anyone know how long the process is with tesco credit cards?

Was the credit card named in the action against the company?


Need a little more info about the case if anybody else can help.

There are no set timescales. Was the judgement by default or was the case defended and you won?

no i took the action myself.

judgement was defended at first, then the company did not show up to the hearing.

If there is a judgement and you say there is evidence, it should be a fairly straightforward process for you as there shouldn't be too much to do in terms of presenting the facts and evidence. Did you provide Tesco with your judgement and supporting evidence along with the template letter? They have a maximum of eight weeks to respond, after which you can refer the case to the Ombudsman.

Tesco may try to delay and obstruct as most credit providers do. Going to the Ombudsman will take about a year from start to finish, possibly longer if the case is not straightforward or if Tesco asks for an Ombudsman to review the adjudicator's decision. I would seek advice on court action against Tesco CC.
