You really are looking for trouble aren't you? Do you really think they are going to scrutinise every vehicle in the car park for a number similar to the one they got wrong?
And some of us might say, it would be a good thing if they did! For a start falsifying their records would be illegal. Secondly, in the unlikely event they did single you out for special treatment, they can't physically prevent you parking (towing and clamping are illegal) so you'd simply get plenty of chances to keep sending the same appeal and costing them £27+VAT at PoPLA each time. They'd soon get fed up with that and leave your car alone.
Not that it's going to happen anyway, although they might refer to the photos their weasel undoubtedly took and get the correct registration from those. So what? You just appeal in the usual way, win, cost them £27 to boot, and carry on parking.
I've never heard of this outfit taking anyone to court. Plenty of them brag about court wins but when you look carefully you realise they weren't their cases!Je suis Charlie.0
