E-on (Cheap Energy Club deal)

Please, please please can someone verify or confirm something for me?

I recently moved to E-on after seeing it advertised on the Cheap Energy Club and part of the deal was additional E-On Reward points (if I remember correctly it was the equivalent of £50-60 (can't remember the exact amount) but this was what sold me on moving to them, plus the cheaper monthly direct debits!!!

E-on are denying any knowledge of this and wondered if anyone can provide a link, screen print, anything I can use to go back to them with?

Hi iamginger and welcome to the Forums.

Thought I'd pop on and let you know, E.ON Reward Points are available with the MSE Collective Switching Tariff or any of the dual fuel or electricity tariffs currently on our website. You'll need to opt in to receive them though.

If you've registered with our website, you can opt in by logging in and going to E.ON Rewards. Alternatively, give us a call and we'll be happy to opt you in.

As JJ Egan says, you can earn up to 1500 points each year. These can be exchanged for either Tesco Clubcard points or High Street Shopping Vouchers, whichever you prefer. The points are built up daily and show on bills on a monthly basis.

There's a price adjustment of £35 per year per fuel for paying with a Monthly Direct Debit. This is given via lower daily standing charges.

Thought I'd mention another tool on our website that you might find useful. It's the 'Direct Debit Manager' and this lets you make changes to your payments. Comes in handy should your circumstances change.

With this tool, provided the account is billed up to the latest meter readings, you can change the payments by up to 20 per cent up or down. By up to 5 per cent up or down without readings. Before putting the change through, we'll let you know by much we anticipate the account will be in credit/debit if the new amount is confirmed but usage doesn't alter accordingly.
