Debt free now what?

Due to recent windfall I'm going to pay my outstanding pay day loans an old debt. So new year new start. I have a mortgage (I'm ahead( on an I have a car on finance (one default payment).
So I want to attempt to repair my credit how can I do this?
No Ccj's on my credit file.
What's the best way of repairing my credit file?
Thank you .

Live within your means and run your finances responsibly. Time will lessen the impact of any negative factors.

Never miss another payment and 6 years after the date of the default it will fall off your credit history. Also stay away from payday loans as the loan is flagged as a pay day loan on your credit file which looks negative to lenders should you be applying for credit in the future.
