I think Small Business Recruitment may be better. Little has a connotation to me of the business being tiny and maybe not worth bothering with.

Are you going to be aiming your services locally or nationally? If local, then maybe incorporating a name such as Yorkshire or South West into your business name might be a good idea. It could also help getting good search engine listings if people are putting their area into a search.

Can you give any advice on getting flies out of computer monitors? One seems to be trapped in there.
  • Thank you for your feedback :)

It will be local and online so I wanted to keep localisation out of the name. I will however be buying localised domain names to help with SEO.

Fly spray may be worth a try ;)
  • Yes, 'Little Business' has an unfortunate meaning for me too, as in not getting much business.

Do you know of an employer who does not want their recruitment services to be cost-effective? Perhaps you mean a discount service. Nothing wrong with that, some recruiters charge far too much in my view anyway.

    I'd say exactly the opposite.

Little Business Recruitment sounds like a name, as "little business" doesn't mean anything.

"Small Business Recruitment" sounds like a company that recruits exclusively for small businesses.

I'm not sure that's what the OP's driving at, really.

It's not that important what the company name is, as it can always trade as something else anyway. So Little Business Recruitment Ltd doesn't sound bad to me.

At my current workplace there is a big push for staff to recommend people for vacant positions, with incentives from 2.5k to 80k depending on role which is far cheaper than the RC rates so Imagine there is some margin to play with and carve out a niche, good luck OP whatever name you decide on.
  • Wouldn't use either - both sound like a business that is not sure just what it is advertising. Potential clients may be confused or unsure and pass you by.

If you stick with small or little, slightly larger companies may not want to call you - at least give them a chance.

Op, your own last sentence was a good one...

    Effective Recruitment Services.... Ltd?

    or

    SME Business Recruitment Ltd?
  • That's all for your input.

I think both your suggestions although your username may be a non starter lol
