Calor Competition Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”)
1. The promoters of the competition outlined below (the “Prize Draw”) are:
1.1 Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd (“Daikin UK”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 04616794) whose registered office is at 1 The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 ONY; and
1.2 Calor Gas Limited (“Calor”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 303703) whose registered office is at Athena House, Athena Drive, Tachbrook Park, Warwick, CV34 6RL (together the “Promoters”).
2. The Prize Draw is open to occupiers of domestic properties located on the UK mainland, which are not fuelled by mains gas. Such properties must be suitable for conversion to an LPG-fuelled hybrid heat pump system, regardless of whether the existing fuel source is LPG.
3. Employees of the Promoters and their families may not participate in the Prize Draw. Only one entry to the Prize Draw may be made per person.
4. The closing date for receipt of entries to the Prize Draw is 31 March 2015. The Promoters assume no responsibility for any entries received after this point, or those which are lost, misplaced, misdirected or incomplete. Only entries which correctly answer the question posed shall be entered into the Prize Draw.
5. The submitter of the first entry drawn at random from all those received in accordance with the Terms shall be entitled to the “First Prize”, which shall consist of:
i. a Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump system (the “System”), to consist of a 5kW or 8kW hybrid heat pump, a standard 1m horizontal flue kit, a class 2 heat meter, an electricity meter and an LPG conversion kit;
ii. standard installation of the System by Calor at an address occupied by the winner of the First Prize in accordance with Condition 2 above (the “Premises”); and
iii. in the event that there is not a functional Calor LPG bulk tank situated at the Premises, installation by Calor of such a tank, which shall at all times remain the property of Calor.
6. In the event that the winner does not own the Premises, written consent of the homeowner for installation of the First Prize will be required.
7. No purchase of any kind is necessary in order to enter the Prize Draw. However, prior to claiming the First Prize, the winner must consent to Calor conducting a site survey and heat loss calculations of the Premises, in order to establish whether a standard installation of the First Prize can be performed. Calor’s judgment in this respect shall be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into. In the event that a standard installation is not possible, Calor reserves the right to advise the winner of the First Prize as to the cost which the winner must bear to enable an installation to proceed, or to inform the winner that an installation is not possible.
8. Entrants should note that the First Prize does not include a supply of liquefied petroleum gas, but that, subject to terms and conditions, such a supply may be obtained through entry into a Domestic Customer Supply Agreement with Calor.
9. In the event that the winner of the First Prize is unable or unwilling to comply with any one or more of the specified Terms, Calor reserves the right to undertake a further Prize Draw, and reallocate the First Prize in its entirety to another entrant. No substitute prize shall be offered.
10. The submitter of the second entry drawn at random from all those received in accordance with the Terms shall be entitled to a Calor Sahara 4.5kW table top Patio Heater.
11. By entering the Prize Draw, entrants are deemed to accept the Terms in their entirety.
12. The Prize Draw will take place on 1 April 2015. No cash or other product alternative to any prize will be offered.
13. The Promoters will contact prize winners by telephone within seven (7) days of the Prize Draw being made. The prizes must be claimed, and installation completed, within 12 months of the Prize Draw taking place.
14. The winners of the Prize Draw may be required to participate in promotional activity undertaken by the Promoters.
15. The Promoters reserve the right to use data given by entrants to provide information regarding further offers, promotions, or goods and services. 16. Each entry into the Prize Draw will be personal to the entrant and may not be transferred to or claimed by any other person.
17. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice.
18. The Prize Draw and all matters arising from it will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
