I tend to only comp for the December advents, because despite always wishing to, I just don't have the stamina to comp all year round. It's quite addictive - just one more competition!

However I've been very lucky this year, and in the last two weeks I've won:

1. Playstation 4
2. Red azalea tree (still waiting for this to turn up "in time for Christmas")
3. Bunch of flowers
4. RHS Veg book (actually I entered this in November, but it only just arrived)
5. £25 shoes.co.uk voucher (won today!)

Not a great year....but some good wins that I kept instead of giving as gifts!
1. Tickets for East is East for 23rd this month
2. £40 Nisa Shopping Vouchers
3. Chivas Regal kits Scotch n some other bits
4. Electric Shower
5. A pair of top price tickets to see Lesley Joseph starring in Hot Flush!
5.5 A pen from a jewellers....a biro....the envelope was prob written by my 'win'!

2. Fancy anorak (can't remember the brand but I was desperately skint and due to visit a friend in Scotland, and it was fancy enough to sell and cover my fare there and back!)
3. Beats headphones.
4. Endless books (mostly from Goodreads) - I haven't needed to set foot in the library all year.
5. Lots of little baby wins - I'm due this month and comping has saved me a fortune in getting everything ready for them.

1) Tickets to a WW1 poetry reading with Dominic West and Damian Lewis (it was so good I cried).

3) Week in Abu Dhabi (technically won last year but went this year)

5) Nails Inc set 6 summer nail polishes, just before I went on summer holiday.

I have only had one win this year, but it was certainly worth the wait! I won a holiday to Doha in Qatar, which includes flights, hotel, spending money, a night at a jazz club, dinner in a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, and best of all, my very own butler service. My beloved and I are going in the new year. Thanks to all the wonderful people who post comps and keep this forum going. You're all stars!
