Used postage stamps

What a great way to give to charity. Cost nothing!

Did not even know that I could give in this way.

Where is the money coming from though? Is it Royal Mail giving the cash in exchange for the stamps?

Selling unfranked stamps isn't legal I believe unless it is for collection.

They are bulk buyers of stamps for whatever reason and they mostly buy them from charities.

But that is where the bulk of the 'value' is.apart from odd collectable stamps.that's the main market.

You don't get as many stamps as you once did. So many things come by email now, or if they do come in the post they're in pre-paid envelopes. Having said that i have got a kitchen draw with old stamps i need to get rid of.

This is a charity that makes surgical gowns for poorly children going in for surgery and also makes pyjamas too, they are collecting stamps and foreign coins.
