Not On Electrol Role With Experian

As the title says, we arenot on the electrol roll with Experian but are with Equifax. I signed up for a free trial with Experian and when I phoned to cancel it, the lady stated and checked that I was not on the Electrol Role but I am with Equifax.
This is affecting my credit rating, which is not good to start with, but I am unsure how to rectify this.
Can anybody help at all?
Thank you.

How long have you been registered? It can take several months to appear.
The CRAs rely on the data coming from your council. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

I have lived at this property for approx 13 years.0

Does Equifax show you being registered for those 13 years?harveymail wrote: »I have lived at this property for approx 13 years. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

All I can suggest is that you check with your council and make sure that they're reporting correctly to Experian.
I don't know if it applies to you, but there's sometimes a problem for flat-dwellers. The address can be written in different ways and may not match up. e.g.- Flat B, 999 Main Street

It may do as I live at, for example - 7 Left Road on Right Lane but my report also shows as 7 Right Lane and then again as 7 Left Road but with a different postcode.
How can I rectify it? Also, why does Equifax show me at the correct address?0 -
Contact them with evidence that you are registered and they should correct it... I emailed a scan of a letter from the local board and they sorted it (eventually)0

Is this just a Council Tax bill?0

No I contacted my local valuation board and they posted me a letter confirming I was registered which I scanned and forwarded. (this is in Scotland - I don't think they are called valuation boards in England but sure there is an equivalent).
You could also try sending a polling card if you still have one.0 -

Fruit and Nut Case is correct this could be the reason why the information isn't correctly showing on your Credit Report.
I would really like to help you with this one and resolve the issue for you, could you please email me your details name/dob/full address including postal code and if you able to provide me with your Electoral Registration Number from your local council, I would be more than happy to help establish the reason why this has happened and look at resolving this for you.
Kind Regards
