First Utility - Scam bill collection text/phone calls?

I left First Utility in December 2013. They have never been able to give me a closing bill but did (after a lot a grief contacting customer services) refund me the £200 sitting in my account. I'm very happy to pay anything I owe if they can provide me a bill!

2 weeks ago I got a phone call saying it was about my first utility account which then "for security" started asking for all sorts of personal information. I told them to email me what it was about and I'd a call them back. I didn't reveal anything except my home address.

Today I get a text message saying my bill is ready and pay online or phone this number (01926320700) to pay by credit or debit card. The SMS was from "first-utili" - I'm suspicious about the name...

I have logged into my online account with First Utility and there is no bill outstanding to pay.

Has anyone else had this? Do you think I'm being scammed?

(I have tried contacting First Utility but they are hit and miss at getting back to me)
