Hi Im buying a stainless steel pressure cooker to reduce fuel use.- I dont want aluminium in contact with the food if avoidable.
Looking at this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kuhn-Rikon-Duromatic-Pressure-Cooker/dp/B00009A9XT/ref=pd_sim_kh_11?ie=UTF8&refRID=1WYPKG9A6D1R88JK1M4W
The relevant piece in the above link is
" 18/10 stainless steel with solid aluminium superthermic sandwich base
Suitable for all heat sources, including induction"
and in the reviews, someone says
" The construction and finish of this cooker are excellent. It is made of stainless steel, with a thick aluminum plate at the bottom to spread the heat.
Has anyone got one ? Do you agree it sound like the aluminium doesnt come in contact with the food and is a thick plate BETWEEN two layers of stainless steel?
