Hi All
Silly Q, but with a new cooker hood, how do you hde the power supply to it?
Is the socket/spur concealed by the chimney, or must it be on show near to it?
Thanks in advance

Most would have an isolator fused or not either in a cupboard above kitchen units etc
E.g.

Cable feed from above chased trunking conduit etc feeding unswitched single socket covered by flue etc

Reason for not putting straight behind without other isolation is trouble if fault should occur0 -
Our cable is chased into the wall above the hood and the isolator is jut above work top level on the tiled area0
