Payment not taken for Santander 123

I have set up my credit card to be paid off in full every month by DD to avoid interest. Normally the money disappears from my c/a a few days before the payment is due and then credited against the CC on the day that payment is due.
This month, the payment is due tomorrow but the funds have not been taken from my c/a yet. Will it all happen in the one day, or has something gone wrong. Should I phone up tomorrow and pay it? what happens if i were to do that and then the DD payment goes through as normal?
Help!
Thanks

Santander will already have requested the full payment fron your bank, but today is not a banking day, so you can't see it. All will be OK tomorrow. Don't make an extra payment.0

DD are taken "on or shortly after" a specified date.
If the beneficiary takes the DD late (presuming it did not bounce due to lack of funds) that's their problem, not yours.
Probably the DD will be taken in the early hours of Monday morning. Check Monday after you've got up; I presume it will have gone by then.0 -
I have never seen anything like that. Normally money 'disappears' on the DD date, although your bank may require it to be available a day before.smallgingerone wrote: »I have set up my credit card to be paid off in full every month by DD to avoid interest. Not if it's not a banking day.
My DD and due by date was today for my credit card, but the money is still in my c/a when I check. It'll go tomorrow, but it won't be marked as late. It's happened every time the due date has fallen on a non banking day.0 -
Santander used to reduce the available balance on my account if the tx occurred on a non-banking day.
This was when it was a Premium Account though, I must admit since I moved to 123 a few months ago I have not checked whether that is still the caseSignaller, author, father, carer.0 -
If you were with Natty West it would show the payment coming out on
Monday, just chill,,,, it will show on your Santer site, if set up correctly.
