nigeria related response

I have seen some info regarding this but cannot find it now.
i am a new seller on e-bay and have received a question.
i remember reading somewhere that you have to be careful about such a response.
i would be grateful if somebody could enlighten me about this.

    It's probably a scam, no doubt they want to pay by Western Union and it's a gift for someone, you're probably selling a phone or a laptop, avoid it

    It does depend on what sort of question. I can see the title of this thread is Nigeria related response and if, as others have said, it was asking you to do anything with Western Union or other Escrow services and ship to n African country then send that email straight to ebay and block the bidder.

    Any other question is fine, even the daft ones like the one I had just before Christmas asking me what colour the black coat was!
