Deadbeat - many congratulations! Enjoy freedom :D

Spreadsheet updated - wasn't going to be until the weekend, but we've back home after capitulating after three days of 'camping' in what must be the worst August weather I can remember. My grandfather would have called it "character building", but there's only so much character building I can take :)

    Cheers Lomcevak!

Got all sorts of ideas for investments, but not settled on a specific plan yet.

Commiserations on the weather - I remember one trip in particular in the Highlands where we had to run along the beach to retrieve our tents from the wind... that was when it wasn't raining.

Characters sufficiently built, we drove home :)

If anyone has updated via the Google form (rather than on the thread) - i've been having lots of problems with it, as most of the time it shows me a blank spreadsheet rather than a list of updates. It seems to be working today, so i've updated with what I can see, but if you're missing an update please could you let me know via PM or via the thread. Thanks :)

Number 4 excitedly bobbing in with an extra OP of £388, had booked a cottage next year but have cancelled it and thought would chuck the money at the mortgage instead! Total August OP is £698 (£310 already added), our biggest ever overpayment!!

Thanks Lomcevak for managing this thread, its such a boost!

  • :TCongratulations Deadbeat. Am I allowed to admit to being jealous?

No 47. No overpayments yet. I'm saving towards my next minimum OP of £500. I wish our mortgage provider would allow us to make smaller overpayments. I'd be doing them all the time.
