    Hi all,

I've made a couple of smaller OPs over the past few days, £25 and £75, thanks to some eBay sales, £co and renting my drive still. Takes me to £1,100 running total for July.

    Thanks as always Lomcevak!

    and also July £1,000

Have received our mortgage statement this week which always makes me :) and to see the amount still owed reducing always makes me want to :j because i know that if we didnt over pay we'd be even further off Mortgage Free.

    Keep up the good work,

Not sure we'll reach our target of £4500 this year, as we found out a couple of weeks ago that we are expecting our first baby in March! So the OPs might take a bit of a backseat to savings for when I'm on maternity leave, but we'll try & chip away slowly!

Congratulations Laura! Babies are expensive, so ive been told, so get yourself a nice buffer of savings built up. the mortgage will be still be there after maternity leave and you can work out what you are able to overpay then!

    Awww! Congratulations! :D

We had our second child 9 weeks ago so currently on mat leave. My first I struggled to do any op's - I put away into savings when I did get anything spare. Second time around is a lot easier financially for us so making up for lost time ;). You'll find your right balance xx
