Money towards getting radiators fitted with Green Deal

I'm buying a house which still has gas fires and would like to get central heating put in before I move in. According to my energy performance certificate I can get room heaters changed to condensing boilers with Green Deal finance. According to their website (sorry, I can't link) it looks like I could get £1000 towards it with an extra £500 if I apply in the first 12 months. Does the scheme cover this kind of work? Am I right in saying that if I go with a green deal company for this that I can claim £1,500 back? Has anyone else done this?

I've not seen the actual radiators included in a list of items available on the green deal, but certainly if you fitted a decent boiler you would qualify for that part. The cashback grants probably won't last long though, the funding might run out soon.
