Just move close to him and see if he puts his arm around you. The rest will follow.:)

That sounds subtle. We chaps struggle with subtle.

If you turned up nekkid and carrying beer then, just maybe, we might get the hint but only maybe ;)
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Just have a conversation. You'll know if you are both feeling 'it' and then, I'd just take his arm as you are walking along. That'll help build closeness and if things go further then great.

All I am saying is, as a bloke, I know blokes an be rubbish with subtle hints or sometimes worried about being seen as a lech or only after one thing and might stand back. Just let him know that you wouldn't be upset if he went in for a smooch! Especially as you have already said, he's been rather a gent so far.

    Good luck!

And wear comfy shoes if you are going to walk round all day hah!
