Please forward any spam PMs to [EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com"]abuse@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL], so that they are aware of them. You can either just copy & paste the text (making sure you include the sender's name), or you can do a screenshot of the PM then insert that in the e-mail (I've just done that with the AntiMartin one), whichever is easier for you. There have been a lot of spam PMs recently, but unless we let abuse know about them they won't have an idea of the scale of the problem.
Please note though, the abuse team are on skeleton staffing at weekends, so if you get a spam PM at the weekend either send it to a board guide or forward it to Abuse on the Monday.

It would certainly make things a lot easier from our point of view. Only thing is, the number of PMs that can be received is probably limited by the software. The AntiMartin one was sent to almost 600 members at the same time (probably the number of people who happened to be online at the time) - if even 10% had forwarded them by PM the inbox would have been full within minutes just because of one PM, which would have in turn blocked any other abuse issues that might have been trying to go through.I think abuse should have a PM account - so we can forward them directly...BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

usually a lurker on this board, but i got a pm from antimartin too.
and i also got one from a kev fella the other night.
spam is a pain in the rear end, i should know, as i run a message board myself (a muisc related one) and have to fight off spammers left and right.Vegetarian's Do Not!!!! eat fish :mad:
