£40 on electric if I'm lucky & about £12 on gas.0

This time of year? Depends on your heating and cooking arrangements.
Last time I was on prepay, it worked out at around £3-4 a day electricity and up to a fiver a day in gas, dependent on how cold it was outside.
So, £25-ish electricity a week and £30-35 gas.

we are all electric, economy 7 for storage heaters and hot water. Putting in £30 a week at the moment and around £15 when heating is not on.Sealed pot challenge member 4370

Thankyou , so I'm not too bad then , was considering switching company but they are all much the same.
Heat on approx 6 hrs a day, cook 99% in a halogen oven, new condenser boiler. Eco shower head , shower not electric ,used twice a day, dishwasher 3 times a week, washer every day, tumble twice a week, heated airer 5 times a week, TV x2 all evening. Consoles etc
Blimey looks a lot when I see it like that lol0 -
I'm gas for heating and hot water only. Electric for everything else, and use very little hot water as the dishwasher and shower are electric. I also have one of those funky Nest thermostats and a boiler that's only a few years old. Heat was on for 179 hours in November.
Currently using about £2.30 a day in gas. At the start of last month it was more like £1.70, the month before that it was basically nothing except the standing charge.
Electric is £2.08 a day and doesn't fluctuate much.
I don't have as accurate figures for December as I got rid of my prepay meters recently, so no-longer do daily meter reads for my spreadsheet. Recalculating my prepay meter reads with the tariff I'm now on, the saving is about £7 a month.0
