Looking at outdoor wall lights. Have been looking at the up/down type lights for the two main patio lights im after but don't really know if they're what I'm after. Any advice on trying to decide! Any pics of people's new extension / patios would be great!

We got these http://www.wayfair.co.uk/Dar-Lighting-1-Light-Semi-Flush-Wall-Light-ALD1635-DLI1037.html for our extension, but it's a period property and we have handmade bricks to match, old weathered yorkstone paving etc. (no idea how to put up a pic, sorry, and couldn't take one til tomorrow now anyway)0

Dont want something that lights the whole night sky but worried that something like this wont offer enought light for the whole patio.

Sorry, should add we have two on the end of the building on the main patio, two on the side where the steps are and one by each back door, although we've had PIRs wired into those0
