Hi I have just had new hard drive installed as my previous one crashed but it seem my tower now make more noise then it before i got the hard drive changed what can i do ?

HD doesn't fit properly? try a royal mail elastic band around the HD then slot it in.*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0 -
Grinding if its from the hard drive then its failing .
Otherwise you disturbed something on the install . Really only fans that can make a noise .0 -
I've found that some cases seem to amplify the noise from a hard drive. If you can attach some rubber between the case and the drive that may isolate the vibrations and reduce the noise significantly.

If it's constant grinding noise, then it's more likely to be a faulty drive. Ask whoever checked the harddrive to show you the SMART data to prove it's health and to check that they have installed it correcntly.0
