Thanks for you replies ilona and to tomtom
Im the same Tomtom- I know the ones not to go to- zullo and Holland, Sutherland and Barnet - although it might have been me, or a particular stylist
Zoe is good, but as you say it's £70 and that's a lot - I was thinking I might spread the appointments out so instead of every 2 months get it cut fewer times a year.
Ilona, I see a haircut as my treat to myself to and I don't really spend much on myself.0 -
Thanks Macca
I've heard of hairven - can you recommend a stylists?
They're all fab, I have Tris but know lots of people rave about Stewart but you'd be more than fine with anybody they all have the same great customer service skills and the salon is lovely.
Ring them and have a chat or e mail them - Colette the owner is lovely and would love to hear from you I'm sure to match you with the right stylist - might depend on who has the most availability though.
Let me know how you get on if you go for it.0 -
I second AbbieCadabra's recommendation of Harvey Luke. Their salons open extended hours and they're not too expensive either.:)0

I can second the recommendation for Hairven in Gedling. Its the only salon that I've ever been 100 % happy with and wouldn't go anywhere else (I have tried most of the high end salons in the city)

Have you looked at your local college? That is quite an area you're asking for in the subject.
I have been here a few times and would highly recommend them, and not just as it is a fraction of the price. http://www.nnc.ac.uk/salon/?page_id=25 They can take a little while longer than a normal cut, as they have to get it checked and explain what they are doing to the teachers, but depending where you're based you might find another college doing the same.

I go to Charlotte at Ladydeez Salon in Littleover, Derby. Shes been doing my hair for over 10 years now and is very reasonably priced. I dont even pay £70 for a cut and colour and it takes forever to colour my thick hair!£2 Savers Club #156!

Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0
