I get a lot of messages suggesting low offers, for fixed price items. I'm afraid I always say no to adding a buy it now. If I wanted people to make an offer I would list it as so. Facebook selling is the same. I now say the price I list is the price I'd like. Go to a boot sale if you want to haggle.
  • Most, if not all of my items are BIN with Best Offer.

I find I get a quicker turn around rather than letting stuff run for 7 days on auction style.

My business tends to be at least 95% BIN, some with best offer, the majority not. For some periods of time my business is 100% BIN- as people either buy or they don't, with an ebay shop it means when I get overwhelmed I just close it for a while.

It was just household stuff i wanted rid of and some made a little less than i was expecting, and some, made more, so it probably evened out.

Did make for a busy monday at the start of the week, and i thought i was going to get lynched by a mob of OAPs in my local post office....
