The Prize Draw opens at 05:00 on 11 December and closes at 23:59 on 22 December. Entries received outside this time period will not be considered.8. We are giving away 1 family ticket (four people) to a British Museum Sleepover and 2 (TWO) Night at the Museum goodie bag containing: 1 x Character Magnets, 1x Trading Cards, 1x Postcards, 1x Tablet Torch, 1 x Activity set, 1x Dexter Plush, 1 x 4D Triceratops Skeleton Fossil, 1 x T-Shirt:
•Competition winners will be provided with return train travel within mainland UK only to London and return private station transfers in London to the British Museum.
•Children must be aged between 8 – 15 years.
•Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
•No cash alternative is available.
•Prize is subject to availability.
•Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame
•All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.
•Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended
•The prize excludes domestic ground transfers from winner's home
•The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize
•Competition winners will become Young Friends for one year (receiving special mailings and invites to events) in addition to receiving tickets to a sleepover.
•All children attending the sleepover must be aged between 8 – 15 years.
•Competition winners and any guests must be accompanied by, and are the responsibility of, a parent/guardian.
•The dates of the sleepovers are determined by the Museum, in accordance with special exhibitions and events.
•The Museum will give at least two months notice of potential dates, and competition winners must confirm which sleepover they can attend within two weeks of being notified of potential dates
•If for any reason you are unable to attend the sleepover that you are booked onto, if one week's notice is given the Museum will try our best to transfer you onto another sleepover, however this may not always be possible (and is unfortunately not possible if less than one week's notice is given)
•Prize is as stated and cannot be transferred or exchanged. No cash alternative will be offered.
•In the unlikely event of cancellation of the sleepover (e.g. in the event of a force majeure), competition winners will have the opportunity to select a future sleepover to attend instead. The British Museum shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc.
•Full details and instructions for the sleepover will be sent to the winner.
9. The winner will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place on 23 December.
