Park Direct UK Ltd

Hi, I received a letter in the post with a parking charge a couple of weeks ago, and before I done any research about how I should go about this I appealed. Within the appeal I implied that I was the driver of the vehicle at the time, after reading the Newbie post I realised this was a mistake. They have rejected my appeal and now I don't know what to do. Should I ignore any further letters or threats from them? Has anybody ignored them and successfully made them give up? have they taken anybody to court?

I literally went inside a private car park for about 2 minutes, waiting to pick somebody up. I was in the car the whole time and was ready to move if necessary. It's absolutely absurd and crazy that this is legal. They are asking for £120.

Any help or redirection to a older thread would be appreciated

thank you

Here's an indication of their record of small claims. Square root of f@ck all!

Interested in their claim for £120. Can you post up a redacted copy (both sides) of their letter in this regard? Host it on PhotoBucket or Tinypic and copy the URL, changing the http to hxxp (newbies can't post links just yet), and we'll do the conversion.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not with a ParkDirect 'postal PCN' breaching the KADOE contract with the DVLA. They issue 'postal PCNs' but no windscreen ticket and no ANPR. Not allowed.

You appeal and win at POPLA of course:

That sort of thing but adapted and changed because that one is quoting 'VCS' (a different firm).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
