Travel Insurance Query

I get worldwide family cover with my packaged bank account however it does not appear to cover my circumstances for an upcoming trip as I have booked everything separately.
1. London to LA with Virgin Atlantic (return)
2. Hotel for 1 night in LA
3. LA to Hawaii with Delta (return)
4. Hotel in Hawaii for 7 nights
5. Return leg to LA with Delta
6. Hotel in LA for 2 nights
7. Return leg to London with Virgin
It appears that my insurance only covers the London-LA legs as the LA-Hawaii leg is classed as a different trip due to the flights not all being on the same ticket. Their T&Cs say that a "trip" must start and end in UK.
Does anybody know of any companies that will cover all parts of a trip such as this?

After a long time on hold, they finally answered the phone to me!
Everything is covered apart from the connecting flights from LA to Hawaii.
Better than I thought but still not the complete cover I would like to have...0 -
This would be the standard level of cover on travel insurance, its all one trip so its covered but only the first and last leg of travel to/from the UK is covered for missed flights etc0

I asked about an upgraded cover but they said they do not provide anything that covers the connecting flights. Does anybody know of an insurer that does cover everything?0
