Trip to Austin March '15

Hi All,

Planning a trip to visit some friends in Austin, around March 13-15th being the departure flight.

Any ideas when will be the best time to book - i.e. airline flight sales etc?

What hotels recommended to stay in?

BA fly non stop from Heathrow to Austin if you fancy convenience. BA have a sale soon with fares appearing from 24th Dec. No guarantees that your preferred flights will be reduced though. BA also do flight+hotel deals.

Good that your preferred dates avoid the Easter holiday demand.

sadly, it looks like my destinations of choice aren't attracting BA Seat Sale discounts this year .

Into Austin or Dallas Fort Worth late July
Travel through Texas, New Maxico and Colorado and then
Out of Denver 8th August.

According to FTalk the sale fares may not be loaded yet -so keep an eye out;)

Across the board, the July flights look to be 50% dearer than June or Aug, which seems odd
